Livestock sales are in Miles City MT, Newell, St Onge and Belle Fourche SD. Major commercial air services are available in Billings MT and Rapid City SD.
Area Wildlife: The 420 acres of irrigated meadows and 720 acres of river bottom provide excellent whitetail, mule deer, pheasant & turkey hunting. Antelope, fox and coyotes are scattered across the 3,320 acres of range land. Local outfitters have leased hunting access for numerous years on a year to year basis. There is one other house located on the property that was built about 1905. This house measures 24’ by 48’ and has not been used for several years but could make a great “hunting lodge.” The ranch borders the Powder River for five miles and provides excellent catfish and sturgeon fishing. The Montana Fish and Game have leased the fishing access for numerous years but the lease was terminated last year at the owner’s request.
Area Recreation: The ranch is within a two hour drive to following venues: casino gambling in historic Deadwood; boating, fishing and water skiing at Yellowtail dam; snow skiing at Terry Peak and sight seeing at Custer’s Last Stand and Mount Rushmore
